Precautions for operation

  1. 1.

Do not connect or disconnect the module from the main system while the power source is turned on.

  2. 2.

When operated below the specified temperature, the display's blinking speed may become slow, and when operating above the specified temperature the overall color may change and contrast may be reduced, but the display will return to normal after being brought back within the specified temperature. However, if stored at a temperature in excess of the storage temperature range, the display may not return to normal, so please exercise caution.

  3. 3.

The contrast of the liquid crystal display will change depending upon the viewing angle, the ambient temperature, and power source voltage. Please adjust the liquid crystal driving voltage (VEE) for optimal contrast.

  4. 4.

If even a small amount of condensation is on the terminal portion of the liquid crystal panel, in electrochemical reaction may occur in the terminal and cause a open. Please avoid condensation. Please operate at a relative humidity below the equivalent of 40 degrees centigrade 90% RH. A rapid change in temperature may also cause condensation, so please exercise caution.

  5. 5.

During operation do not touch the connector terminals, PCB, or mounted parts. It may also cause a malfunction, so please exercise caution.
