HOW TO USE THE SUB MINIATUARE LAMP CORRECTLY

[ ! ] Warnings
  • Do not touch the lamp while lit or right after turning it off, since its heat may cause burns.

  • Do not wrap cloth, paper, or other flammable materials around the lamp, or leave such items close to it, because they may catch fire. Make sure there is sufficient distance between flammable materials and the lamp when it is turned on.

  • The lamp may be destroyed if rainwater or water droplets land on the hot glass surface of a lit lamp.

[ ! ] Precautions
  • As the lamp is made of glass, do not hit it with hard objects. It may break and cause injury, and even if it doesn’t, scratches to its surface will weaken the glass.

  • Use the lamp at the voltage indicated on the drawings or the spec sheet. If you apply a voltage above the specified range, you may cause a short circuit and the lamp may explode. Specified lamp characteristics (luminous flux, power consumption, lifetime) will change according to changes in the voltage.

  • Do not paint the lamp surface or cover it with such materials as colored paper. The glass surface will become extremely hot, damaging the lamp or shortening its life.

  • When replacing the lamp, do not remove it until you have turned it off and allowed it sufficient time to cool. Also, to avoid shock, do not touch the lead.

  • Make sure the lamp is securely attached to its base. If not, it may fail to light up or may heat up excessively.

  • Do not vibrate or hit a lamp above the specified range of motion while it is lit because the filament wire may break. This is true even for vibration-resistant models.
